General Questions

Got questions about dumpster rentals? Here are some answers to the most common ones we get, to help you understand our services better.

  • 1. How high can I load the dumpster?

You should not load the dumpster higher than the top edge of the container. Overfilling the dumpster can result in safety hazards during transport and may lead to additional fees. Ensure that all debris remains level with the top of the dumpster without any items sticking out.

  • 2. What types of dumpsters do you offer?

We offer a variety of dumpsters to meet your needs, including 10-yard dumpsters ideal for small clean-out projects and minor renovations, 20-yard dumpsters perfect for medium-sized remodels and large clean-outs, 30-yard dumpsters suitable for large-scale construction projects and major renovations, and 40-yard dumpsters best for commercial and industrial projects with heavy debris.

  • 3. Is there anything I can’t put in the dumpster?

Yes, there are certain items that cannot be disposed of in our dumpsters. These include, but are not limited to, hazardous materials such as chemicals, paint, and asbestos, as well as tires, batteries, liquids of any kind, medical waste, and electronic waste (e-waste). Please refer to our prohibited items list for more details or contact us if you have specific questions.

  • 4. Do I need to be present during the dumpster delivery or pick-up?

Yes. It’s Alliance Dumpster’s Policy for an adult to be present when dropping off your dumpster.

  • 5. What happens if I exceed the weight limit of the dumpster?

If you exceed the weight limit of the dumpster, additional charges may apply. The weight limit is in place to ensure safe transportation and compliance with local regulations. If you anticipate that your load may be heavy, please discuss this with us when booking, and we can recommend the appropriate dumpster size or arrange for additional services.
